Minneapolis’ Star Tribune newspaper’s bias reporting causes defamatory speculation at Internet marketing firm (Updated)

On Tuesday, February 23, 2010 the Minnesota Division of the FBI and Secret Service raided the offices of iNetGlobal, located at 250 Second Avenue South in Minneapolis.

In an official statement released by iNetGlobal – (the Star Tribune never bothered to run), the company says:

On Tuesday, February 23, 2010 -  U.S. Federal Agents arrived with a warrant to search the Minneapolis offices of iNetGlobal™ looking for something to substantiate their claim that illegal activity was occurring in the business.

iNetGlobal™ provides a number of essential internet tools and services for the small and home based business market.

These services include: Domain Registration, Web Hosting, Email Marketing, Shopping Cart, eCommerce, Local Business Directory, Press Release service, Search Engine, and Pay Per View Advertising services.

iNetGlobal offices will remain open to provide support to our thousands of customers from around the world. iNetGlobal will continue to provide the level of quality service our customers have come to expect now and into the future.

We would like to thank all of our Members and Customers for their support and well wishes in this trying time.

Thank you – iNetGlobal

The Minneapolis’ Star Tribune’s report on iNetGlobal was misleading, incorrect and lacked real information about iNetGlobal and the reason the Federal Government can only “suspect” a Ponzi scheme. Since the first posting of this story, KARE 11, KSTP 5 and a handful of bloggers and online media outlets have picked up on the tainted one-sided story that the Strib delivered to their wavering readership.

Remember, in the United States, the American people in business have no protection over the federal governments investigative branch. Without absolute facts American businesses are at the whim of  federal agencies which can freeze bank accounts, take computers and close offices with nothing more than an allegation.

The land of the free and home of the brave is now being ruled with Communist, Gestapo  tactics.

The United States government would never go into a non-profit, human service agency that had received millions of dollars in federal money to address a disparity in an under-served community that posted no results, but denies, obstructs and freezes assets from businesses on a daily basis without proof of guilt with a “wild, wild west” mentality.

On Tuesday, February 23rd, Star Tribune reporter Jim Walsh, wrote, “Federal agents raided a Minneapolis business owned by local musician Steve Renner Tuesday morning in what authorities are ‘calling’ a suspected Ponzi scheme. The secret service said it would not divulge any other details at this time.”

The Star Tribune has not seen a copy of the search warrant; nor did they have relevant details about what triggered the investigation.  The newspaper has used it’s “power” to skew a story adding defamatory contempt prior to a full investigation and a Grand Jury inquiry.

Has the meaning of the word “calling” changed to “guilty?”

Just for the record: iNetGlobal™ is a global Internet Service Company that provides essential services for its target market—entrepreneurs, home-based business, small businesses, and corporations—all those who need to market on the Internet.  These “V” core services include—V-Webs™, V-Newswire™, V-Local™, V-Webcast™ and V-Shops™ – in addition to its online advertising services make up the bulk of the company’s business.  Following its humble beginnings in 2006, iNetGlobal finally perfected what is now its current product lineup in July 2008.  Since introducing the iNetGlobal™ services, the company has become one of the fastest growing Internet service companies in the world.

Our business model pays individuals to “Surf the Web” while using our products to promote and build capacity for their small businesses. iNetGlobal members are no different than Marketing Experts who sell online advertising and get paid commissions. In traditional advertising and marketing, the cost for such exposure would be phenomenal and beyond the reach of most small businesses.

iNetGlobal has created opportunities on a Global level.

iNetGlobal’s “V” core services are the back-bone of online Internet marketing. Following iNetGlobal’s™ humble beginnings in 2006, the company finally perfected what is now its current product lineup in July 2008.  Since introducing the iNetGlobal™ services, the company has become one of the fastest growing Internet service companies in the world.

When staff questioned the intrusion of the government agencies, Robert MacQueen, Secret Service Lead Search Agent said, “This Company (iNetGlobal) is running a Ponzi scheme. We have 3500 Chinese filing a suit that said this.”  Special Agent MacQueen went on to say, “We have frozen your bank accounts and the ‘victims’ will get their money back.” One of the staff of iNetGlobal asked the agent “Isn’t that for the courts to decide? It looks like you have found the company guilty with contempt, prior to investigation.

In closing, the United States of America was founded on hard working individuals that wanted to make a better life for themselves. It seems currently, if an individual is successful the federal government and the ponds they use (Star Tribune) paint an unrealistic picture of entrepreneurial success.

But really, when was the last time you purchased a newspaper versus reading your news online?

I feel the Star Tribune newspaper has lacked journalistic integrity in this story, and in other stories by not allowing their readership the option to see both sides.

The Tea Party Movement rejects the Republican Party

Editors Note: IBNN has run this story at no charge. We feel stongly about the Tea Party Movement and support them 100%.

Watch out old, antiquated, red neck Republican Rhino’s. The Tea Party Movement is ready and positioned to cut the tent wide open.

Declaration of Tea Party Independence

I. As the course of human events winds its way through History, it has found some paths lead to Tyranny and some to Liberty. In seeking a path to Liberty, a great and powerful movement is now rising from every corner of our land. Created by the Will of the American People, it rejects unconstitutional domination by the Government that is supposed to be its servant. This movement has arisen, in large part, because our elected officials have failed us.

For much of its history the United States has been a land of prosperity and liberty, sound policies such as fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and a belief in the free market have safeguarded this condition. In recent years however, Congress, the President, the Federal Reserve Board and the Courts have replaced those practices with profligate government spending and expansion of the government power beyond what is
Constitutionally permissible.

This course, if not reversed, can only lead to economic collapse and tyranny.

Therefore, Individuals acting through the Tea Party Movement, seek to restore the policies, which are proven to safeguard liberty and prosperity for all. We will organize, demonstrate and vote until this restoration has been achieved. We will stay focused on this goal and remain INDEPENDENT from any persons or political parties who seek to distract us from this end.

Many seek to define this Movement, to use it, to lead it, to co-opt it, to channel it, to control it, to defeat it.

WE WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN.

The Tea Party Movement is in agreement with our Founders that the government that governs least governs best. We believe that Capitalism – NOT GOVERNMENT – is essential to the creation of wealth and a vastly reduced government provides the foundation for a thriving Capitalist system.

The Tea Party Movement of America embraces and serves people of all races, creeds, religions, and political affiliations, and we declare ourselves to be independent of all those forces that seek to manipulate our actions or control our destiny.

II. We Declare ourselves INDEPENDENT of the Democrat Party and its power drunk junta in Washington DC, which is currently seeking to impose a Socialist agenda on our Republic.

We reject arrogant Left-wing politicians who furtively hide from public scrutiny, as they cut corrupt deals loaded with earmarks and pork in order to produce 2000 page pieces of legislation so purposely incomprehensible, they do not even bother to read them before foisting them upon us.

We reject the endless creation of myriad federal government agencies that drown free enterprise and local control in the swarms of education, energy, ecology, and commerce bureaucrats who style themselves “czars” sent to harass us. We reject the creation of federal government regulations and agencies which demand the States pay for unfunded Federal mandates.

We reject a Democrat Party which refuses to give credence to our demands for just redress of grievances and which insults and seeks to demonize our legal right to peacefully protest the unjust laws it inflicts upon us.

We reject a profligate Government that is spending TRILLIONS of dollars on worthless socialist schemes designed to bankrupt us and put the American people in a position of dependence on the State, as peasants begging for their very sustenance from self-styled “educated classes” and so-called “experts”. Let’s Recap 2009 – Wake Up America!

1. The American people elect a president with a total of 142 days experience as a US Senator from the most politically corrupt state (city) in America whose governors have been ousted from office. The President’s first official act is to order the close of Gitmo and make sure terrorists civil rights are not violated.

2. The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists.

3. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta, has absolutely no experience, has a daughter Linda, we find out, who is a true radical anti-American activist and a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere.

4. We got the second most corrupt American woman (Pelosi is #1) as Secretary of State; bought and paid for.

5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who did not properly file his own taxes for 12 years.

6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges.

7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges.

8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct.

9. A Secretary HHS nominee (Daschle) who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes.

10. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute campaign statement that no lobbyists would be appointed.

All this occurred just during the first three weeks – but who’s counting?

America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges – Barry, Nancy and Harry and they are still trying to define stimulus…”it’s spending!!!”

The congress passes the $800,000,000,000 **(that’s $800 billion)** pork-laden spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen of your tax dollars ($13 per week), making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated], that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Television!

Here’s the good news though – Obama took Air Force One to Denver to sign the stimulus package, wasting as much as 10,000 gallons of fuel OR 24 JOBS FOR ONE YEAR.

Obama has now been president for twelve months, and yet he and Michelle (the first lady), the Christian family they claim to be, have not attended church since the inauguration.

“By listening and watching local media, you would think that Valentines Day was the only event going on in the month of February. With CNN’s special, featuring Soledad O’Brien’s “Black in America 2,” – a watered down version of what it’s like to be Black America is skewed for a White audience, it misses the mark at every turn. The issues for those who are forward thinkers are jobs, economic development and education. Tune in KFAI on Sunday for the real State of the Union about Black America.”

On Sunday February 14, 2010, from 6-7 p.m. KFAI Radio 90.3 FM (Minneapolis) and 106.7 (St. Paul) will air an exclusive segment on race relations and generational progress produced by Lennie Chism, Executive Director of Springboard Economic Development Corporation.  Chism’s program, titled A Spoonful of Integration is Not Enough for the Rest of Us explores the Civil Rights Movement through music pinpointing cultural anthems such as “We Shall Overcome” to Tupac’s Ghetto Gospel” as indications of change.

Chism says, “My motivation was to get people to critically look at the 1947 integration of baseball and begin to ask whether integration helped.  I wanted to show how integration was not as successful as people thought.  Thanks to integration, The Negro League was completely dismantled by 1963, blacks went from running leagues and teams to just being players.  Jobs and industry were lost because of integration for blacks.  Hence, A Spoonful of Integration is Not Enough for the Rest of Us,” Chism explains.  Chism adds, “However when you look at the music industry, that has been dominated by African-Americans for years, with absolutely no desire to integrate, there are countless success stories, hip-hop culture did not bow down, sell out nor attempt to assimilate.”

Chism believes the struggle for Civil Rights continues in the current day hip-hop movement. “I chose to end the segment with Tupac because he is one of the greatest street lobbyists ever,” explains Chism.  “He spoke of another culture that the establishment would want to see removed. But in reality that culture became an industry that is creating jobs and a new wealthy class of African-Americans.”

Chism hopes multiple generations tune in for the special program, special guests include Donald Allen editor in chief of two international read controversial blogs and Kelechi Jaavid, local comedian to lighten the air.

Donald Allen, a blogger, Republican and outspoken critic of Minneapolis’ political processes and non-profit watchdog as it relates to communities of color and the delivery of services states, “This is an opportunity to mention names, agencies and politicians who for the most part are more celebrity-based then actually making sure the community is healed. This is an opportunity to let America know that agencies like the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Minneapolis Urban League and the NAACP have lost their mojo.”

Tune in on Sunday, the revolution continues.

Haiti – The Politics of a Human Disaster

February 9, 2010 · Filed Under BBC, Death, Family's that don't have food don't function, Haiti, USA Politics · Comments Off

“Never let a good crisis go to waste.”-Rahm Immanuel, Chief of Staff, President Obama

On Sunday, January 17 the BBC reported from Port-au-Prince: “We have been hearing the constant roar of high-powered engines for days as transport planes take off and land. But like the people of Haiti, we have wondered why the cargo has not been getting to its final destination.

The incidents of unrest over food and water have been few and far between, but many people still want answers.

At one of the makeshift camps in the capital, hundreds of people made homeless by the earthquake shelter from the intense heat under a patchwork quilt of tarpaulin, zinc sheet, and blankets.

There are hundreds of men, women and children on the rough ground surviving without the basics.

While we watch the Democratic machine go in to over-drive to raise funds for Haiti  – the country has just become another photo opportunity for President Obama and his cabinet. Or hearts go out to the brothers and sisters and their families who have lost loved ones.

President Obama, who has not addressed the state of Black America, or for that matter stated his position on Africa, might have to finally take a strong stance in regards to the people of Haiti.

Haiti was a human disaster long before the earthquake. Haiti is a by-product of the United States’ gross neglect. The problems with Haiti’s infrastructure could have been addressed decades ago– but we have to keep in mind, this is a Black-led nation. What is most sad is that Haitians were living a nightmare even before this horrible situation (their unemployment rate is 65%), and we need to see the nightmare come to an end.

Long after the fanfare is over, Haiti will continue to be a “human disaster area” much like New Orleans.

Haiti’s regional, historical and cultural position is unique for several reasons. It was the first independent nation in the Americas, the first post-colonial independent Black-led nation in the world. The independence of Haiti was gained in 1791 via a successful revolt of enslaved Africans and free people of color who overthrew the slave regime and the colonial system at the same time.

Why does this become an issue for the Obama administration?

When US President Barack Obama announced that one of the biggest relief efforts in US history would be heading for Haiti, he highlighted the close ties between the two nations. President Obama said, “With just a few hundred miles of ocean between us and a long history that binds us together, Haitians are our neighbors in the Americas and here at home.”

Hundreds of thousands of Haitians have indeed become neighbors of Americans.

Some 420,000 live in the US legally, according to census figures. Estimates of the number of Haitians in the country illegally vary from some 30,000 to 125,000.

The history that ‘binds us (Blacks) together” is Slavery and our Blackness.

Haiti has been a poor country past, present and will be in the future. The so-called “curse” of Haiti is its perpetual poverty and the United States’ continuous interference with Haiti’s government, while overlooking the needs of its people. The basics, “food, water and shelter” have never been the top priority- shaping the government to the desires of the U.S. has. The people of Haiti have been starving for too long.

Why does it take a disaster to address an on-going disaster?

American administrations from President Nixon to Obama have well known the  true state of Haiti. They knew that the Haitian people mixed dirt with sugar to make “cookies” to have something to eat. A significant part of the population of Port-au-Prince eats dinner out the garbage cans of tourists from the First World.

The catastrophic disaster in Haiti has gained worldwide attention. Nations like Haiti deserve the assistance of the United Nations in a humanitarian way, without the politics of government interference.

Haitian native, Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti at www.yele.org, has come under-fire by larger charities for his fund raising that have gone on long before all eyes where on Haiti. This blog endorses Wyclef and his ongoing efforts to assist his homeland.

Americans give over $100 billion dollars per year to churches, so if we simply gave one month of tithes to genuine Haitian charities, this would be nearly 8 times the Haitian government’s annual budget. Sure, there might be some corruption in charitable fund-raising, but there is corruption everywhere, including the US government.

North Minneapolis Politics: Bottineau Line-(Light Rail Transit), Dog and Pony shows not needed!

“A performance of epic proportions is great in theater. The question is, will this project provide jobs and economic stimulus to North Minneapolis?”

By Donald W.R. Allen, II – Editor in Chief of IBNN and USA Radical Black

On Thursday, January 28th, a meeting was held in North Minneapolis to talk about the Bottineau Line (Light Rail) and how it would affect the north Minneapolis community.

In a continuation of back-room-deals, sidebars with no forward thinking some community members wonder will this be another “ride-by” of economic opportunity that seems to keep missing Black people and Black business in north Minneapolis? With no establishment of a 40/40/40 Community Benefits Agreement (CBA), it seems that this is just another projects that will ride on the backs of the under served community with no real benefit other than train that goes through the “hood.”

Minnesota Public Radio (the Radio-Man) is suing the Metropolitan Council over a planned light rail project that would run trains by the station’s office in St. Paul. For the “technical” reasons, if the Light Rail runs anywhere near Broadway and Penn, will KMOJ-FM be able to sue for the same reasons…no.

It’s simple as Black and White, literally.

Since the passing of the Stimulus Bill over 3.3 million Americans have lost their jobs. In January 2010 over 20,000 have lost gainful employment.

In 2009, north Minneapolis leaders promised at least 1000 jobs for the community.

In the fall of 2009, a deafening silence fell from north Minneapolis’ “self-appointed leaders.”  What happened to the millions of dollars in stimulus money from the Obama administration sent cleverly cloaked as something that will never trickle down to businesses, human services agencies and the people who need jobs now?

The presentation on Thursday night was another fine example of “lip-service” to see if local politicians can handle “the community.

What, no jobs again?” – says 51-year old Sam, who drives a taxi in Minneapolis for a local taxi company and lives in north Minneapolis, “It’s the same group of politicians always telling the community ‘the jobs and new projects are coming’ – and nothing ever develops. It’s like being super-glued to the edge of your seat with all of the suspense of a big screen production and no delivery of a plot. It’s funny, we fall for it ever time.

Sam’s feelings on the matter of jobs to north Minneapolis reflects the feelings of many who are tired of the “sensationalism” and announcements of possible opportunities which for the most part never-ever make it to the average north Minneapolis resident.  Those who do benefit are non-profit agencies and their employees tasked to study the “process of how.”

At Thursday nights meeting, Minnesota State Representative Bobby Jo Champion (58B) told the captive audience (after one of his constituents posed a very good question about jobs in north Minneapolis along the proposed light rail), “We’re not here to talk about jobs!”

The United States has donated over $600 million to Haiti – an economic and infrastructure disaster zone, at what point does the Black community in north Minneapolis get any consideration – also an economic and infrastructure disaster zone.

At what point will it be about jobs, economic stimulus? When will Representative Champion’s committee address the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s lack of engaging minority contractors – or jobs? Champion, who sits on the states Transportation and Transit Policy and Oversight Division, who meet on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. in Room 5 of the State Office Building, has been, for the most part IBNN alleges, mute to the real needs of transit and transit options for his constituents in 58B – to include the compliance by Minnesota Department of Transportation.

We now have before us a proposed LRT line whose reason for existing is political rather than practical. It’s time for a reality check. Read more

Michael Jordan won’t be reappointed as civil rights director for Minneapolis. Are we suppose to like Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak now?

This video tells the “whole” story!

“The Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights has not been a community player since 1998. The investigators have a high sense of “southern stratification” and frown on serving the poor and misrepresented in Minneapolis.”

From the murder of Fong Lee to the taser death of Quincy Smith by the Minneapolis Police Department, the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights “leadership” and “investigators” barley lifted a finger until R.T. Rybak and Betsy Hodge’s proposed cut of the MDCR Investigative unit. Cases that automatically should have been on the radar of the MDCR went ignored.

“LEADERSHIP.”

On Tuesday, February 2, 2010 as reported by Steve Brandt, Michael Jordan won’t be reappointed as civil rights director for Minneapolis.

Under Michael Jordan’s “leadership,” the department has seen a rise in inner-office relationships; promotions for the least qualified – but most cooperative, and a long series of “oversights” by the departments lack of wanting to assist the community.

“Most of the time I walk in there, they (the investigators) look at me like I’m a germ. They treat me like I’m stupid and have always made it very hard for me to file my case,” says Terry Drakes of Minneapolis.

Mr. Drakes was one of the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights cases that IBNN alleges was mishandled, under handled and for the most part given to someone to work on with no experience – like the Fong Lee case.

Terry, who was an employee at the Rainbow Foods on 26th and Lake Street in Minneapolis who’s job was to push the shopping carts from the parking lot back into the store was injured on the job. During his tenure at Rainbow Foods it became evident to Mr. Drake that the company wanted him out. A long time Rainbow Foods shopper reported to the manager that Terry cut her off in the parking lot with his row of carts. The shopper spit in Mr. Drakes face and called him a Nigger. Terry reported this incident to management and things got worse.

Co-workers accused Drakes of waiting in his car with a gun planning to shoot a co-worker. The fact is – Mr. Drakes hasn’t owned a car or driven for over 20 years.

Rainbow released Mr. Drakes.

Mr. Drakes filed a claim over 4 years ago with the MDCR – he’s been hit with “by the book tactics” and a less than cooperative investigation staff.

58-year-old Terry Drakes is a disabled man. On one visit to the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights, Drakes was escorted by City Hall security to the civil rights office and then escorted out.  The next morning, Minneapolis Police arrived at Mr. Drakes house and arrested him for “terroristic threats” against the MDCR investigators.

Mr. Drakes was released from the Hennepin County Jail with no charges. Mr. Drakes was set up by MDCR Investigative employees – remember, Drakes was escorted by security in and out of the building, there was no threats made.

Drakes said, “I asked the guard: did I threaten anyone?” Drakes said the guard told him “no.”

Sources tell IBNN that Michael Jordan made the call to have him arrested to “get rid of him” from bothering the investigators.

Terry says, “It’s been real hard for me. I’ve been trying to get someone to listen to me for more than 4-years. I have been eating oatmeal everyday for the last month and I’m getting ready to lose my apartment.  What Michael Jordan and those ladies did to me was wrong. All I wanted to do was work and they made my life a living shit hell.”

This is just one of many examples of the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights Investigative Units intended over-sights under the leadership of Michael Jordan and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak.

For Terry Drakes: His case was found to have “no probable cause.”
