There is nothing "misleading" about what they showed. The segments on the WCCO video show the most repulsive parts of the full-length video (Ira getting slammed against the truck for no reason, Ira getting his arms unnecessarily twisted behind his back, Ira getting slammed to the ground, and Ira getting tased). They had to cut it down to fit the length of the segment. It had nothing to do with "racism." Of course, this is just my opinion as an average viewer. I wonder why year after year we experience these needless tragidies in the Black Community but year after year we have not been able to curb this violence, even though we have all these non profits who profess to work with this population. I feel it's time for this community to insist that the social service agencies start doin their jobs and that instead of a march when a member of the community is killed but that we all pro actively get out and in the face of these thugs before they kill because after the fact is too late. As adults in this communioty we should all hang our heads in shame because we all bear some responsiblity in letting our kids get so far away from church and God and allowing them to be raised by the rappers and each other rather than providing them with the nuturing village that many of us grew up in.
